Steel crowd barriers are designed to be a temporary and portable medium duty barrier. They are 1.1 meters high, making it difficult for people to climb over them. They come with hooks and eyes on either end, which are used to connect one barrier to the next, making it very difficult to unlink the barriers once they have been fixed into position and pulled tight.

These barriers are most commonly used for helping to contain and direct crowds. They are commonly seen at large festivals and on building sites to clearly mark access routes and to stop people from straying into potentially dangerous areas.
